Change is jarring, no matter how prepared you are, and it is stressful. Change relies on stress in order to build something new. Whether you are growing flowers, building muscle, or forging a new life for yourself, transformation requires a breakthrough of the old to make room for the new, burgeoning life underneath. Death, endings, and new seasons in life are all a natural part of living in a world whose very foundation is change. You are called to remember that this isn’t just happening to you; it is also somehow happening for you, and ultimately, this will be a positive transformation. When you embrace the fact that nothing in the natural world is against you… You come to realize that by resisting the change, you inadvertently prolong your suffering.

Affirmation:  I now move into acceptance and realize that it is ultimately here for me… to make me stronger and wiser..
