Silence

Inner beings operate in silence

Silence

I used to find silences “awkward”. It said a lot about me. I used to live in that chaotic world of “noise, noise, noise…busy, busy, busy”. If a conversation dried up, I would revive it with some crap convo just to put an end to the silences. And when I would come home from work, I’d put the TV on immediately and not even watch it until maybe two hours later when I’d eventually park my butt down and find something “brain numbing”.

As I started to become acquainted with my own inner being, I was introduced to an entirely new way of being and existing. One of which was, my inner being works in silence and relishes the silence, for it’s then that I am able to “hear” and become aware of the intuitive nudges, telepathic communications and the true “yes” and “no” answers coming from within.

Recently we ditched our TV and I’ve not missed it for a moment. If the urge comes to watch a movie or TV programme, I will stream from my laptop, but since getting rid of the box, the desire to watch something has almost diminished.

I still listen to music as music’s in my blood. But now, when I sit down to write, I often write in silence as it’s when I can focus on my inner being and “hear” my inner voice perfectly. It’s not even that my inner voice talks but it’s that heightened sense of awareness of my inner being that you get when sitting in complete peace that I am able to write and be guided by my intuition, without having to ask or question it. It just flows.

Truth of the matter, it is in that silence that we are open to hearing our inner voice. In working with your inner being or true self, you become aware of her or his presence when you are in stillness and silence. In stillness, I mean sit, be quiet, do nothing (don’t fidget with your cell phone or tidy up), and most of all be open to what your inner being needs you to know without any interference. It is during this time that we truly become acquainted with being in the now, for it is always there that we find our true self – in the now or present.

Be patient, be open and in that silence, you will find your inner being is not lost for “words”. So sit down with a notebook and pen or take notes on your cell phone. It’s in those moments of silence that you also become aware of your inner being’s presence, aware of your inner being’s energy and essence, aware of your inner being’s inner peace and aware of that which they desire of you. It is from these heightened moments of awareness that you become aware of your true self – allowing his or her energy to permeate through you 24/7 265 without ANY interference.

This “way of the warrior” soon becomes a way of life, and the more you sit in that silence, it becomes easier to tune in to your inner being, so much so that when you find yourself in some really noisy, chaotic or awkward situations, you will be able to tune in instantly and know what it is your true self requires to be done at that point.

Be comfortable in those silences and if there’s “radio silence” and you are not getting anything from your inner being, it doesn’t mean there’s something wrong. It just means there’s no information to relay at that point, so take advantage of that downtime and read a book or play a game on your cell phone.
